CPC1225N SSR Targets Information Technology Equipment including Power Supplies, Telephone Equipment, and Networking Equipment

Clare, Inc., an IXYS company, have announced the immediate availability of their new high voltage 4-pin, 1-Form-A (Single Pole, Normally Open) Solid State Relay (SSR). The CPC1225N is a miniature relay in a 4 pin SOP package that employs optically coupled MOSFET technology to provide 1500Vrms of input-to-output isolation and is compliant for supplementary isolation in accordance with EN/IEC 60950-1.

The CPC1225N uses Clare’s state of the art double molded vertical construction to produce the world’s smallest 4-pin relay. The CPC1225N offers board space savings of 20% over the competitor’s larger 4-pin SOP relay.

This device is an excellent choice for telecom and industrial equipment which demands high voltage switching capabilities. Target markets and applications for these devices include telecom and modem switching and tip/ring circuits.
