Lumex is introducing a new range of high-bright, through-hole LEDs. Lumex’s SSL-LX203C series of LEDs provide an attractive, space-saving design similar to SMT LEDs, but in through-hole construction.

Utilising thin, flexible leads, the Lumex SSL-LX203C Series LEDs can be set at almost any unique angle. A ceramic stem and a special dome lens create a bright, wide angle of emission SMT-like LED with radial leads.

These unique LEDs are 2mm in diameter with an extremely low profile. Lumex uses a ceramic stem to mitigate any heat issues that may arise from driving an LED in such a small package.

These new LEDs are ideal for use in board or panel indication, telecom switches and central station equipment, control panels or anywhere a high brightness lighting application is required.

A wide range of high brightness LED colours are available to choose from (white coming soon), making this LED perfect for any product design. These units are Pb free and RoHS compatible.
