Phi @ Falmouth is a fusion between two well-established Onyx Holdings companies, Phi Magnetronics and Phi Nexus.

Phi Magnetronics is the longer running of the two, started in 1969, it has grown to become one of the leading design and manufacturers of magnetic tape recording heads. Since 1969 almost 1,500 different head types have been produced and most are still available - Phi will not end a product line if an existing customer needs spares.

Phi Nexus is an extensive sub-contract manufacturing company. Specialising in electro-mechanical assemblies and electronic subcontract manufacturing, Phi Nexus covers all aspects of complete project management.

Its history within the industry has enabled Nexus to hone an extensive range of skills and capabilities, empowering them to excel in providing solutions for all aspects of sub-contract design and manufacture.

Using these skills and experience, Phi @ Falmouth has designed and developed and is now manufacturing high quality, innovative second generation modular SCIFs and EMI screened rooms in the UK and Europe.

Being part of the Onyx Holdings Ltd group, Phi @ Falmouth has the support and stability necessary to ensure success in new ventures.
