Radun Controls Ltd | About Us
Radun Controls Ltd was established in 1963 and now works in three distinct areas: heavy haulage breaking sensors, school electronic registration and sub-contract manufacture.
With a highly trained, flexible and efficient workforce Radun Controls have re-structured their processes to minimise overheads in order to offer the customer the most competitive prices available in the UK.
Radun became a major acquisition of a larger group Onyx Holdings Ltd in 1995, which has further strengthened the company and its capabilities.
Anti-locking Breaking Sensors
Specialists in the design and development of anti-lock braking system speed measuring sensors, with a significant international market share of the heavy haulage braking industry. These sensors are exported world-wide, with major markets in the USA and Europe. Radun also undertakes the design and manufacture of other forms of sensor for the automotive industry, as well as producing cable harnesses for production cars.
Subcontract Manufacture
Radun's Sub-contracting division produces a diverse range of small and large run products, outsourced by both UK and international companies.
School Registration
Sentinel is an electronic registration system that monitors student attendance either lesson by lesson, or morning and afternoon.
The first system went live in a school in 1992 with MS-DOS software. Four years later the software was converted to a windows based system. That school is still a customer and advocate of the system with over one hundred and fifty card readers in eleven buildings around a lake.
