Sentinel is Radun's popular electronic registration system for schools, colleges and universities. It uses cards to register pupils either lesson by lesson, morning and afternoon, or once a day. Students are able to take responsibility for registering their own attendance.

Using Sentinel you can create, print and save a number of standard and customised reports tracking pupil attendance, absenteeism and DFE statistics, as well as managing room attendance and timetables. The system can help colleges and sixth forms run the EMA scheme.

Access control can increase the security of school entrances and, in particular, sensitive areas within the school. Science labs, sports facilities and computer rooms can all be safeguarded against unwelcome visitors and toilets can be allocated to particular year groups by gender.

Alongside lesson monitoring and access control, Sentinel can also be used for print and library management, security ID, lift control, Cashless Catering and bus passes.
